Some enterprises using high-speed precision punch press stamping production have higher requirements on production accuracy, especially after a long time of mechanical equipment noise becomes larger, so some worry about stamping accuracy. So, what is the noise of high-speed precision punch and how is it generated? Does noise affect stamping accuracy?

There are two kinds of noise of high-speed precision punch: no-load noise and load noise. No load noise is the noise of high-speed precision punch when it is running without material. It includes motor noise, impact noise caused by the gap between running components, and collision noise between clutch and gear. The most important noise source is the impact noise of clutch and gear.

The load noise is the noise produced by the high-speed precision punch when stamping commodities. The same high-speed precision punch uses different stamping processes, and the noise generated is also different. The location of the press noise can be divided into the following categories:

There are three pairs of friction pairs in the structure of crank, connecting rod and slide block of high-speed precision punch: short end of connecting rod and ball cage seat of slide block; Journal of crankshaft and crankshaft bearing bush; gear journal and most bearing bush of connecting rod. Because of the production and adjustment errors and their specific needs, there is inevitably a gap between these components. When the relative motion between components is connected from free motion to touch motion, it is inevitable to produce impact. The larger the gap, the stronger the noise. In addition, when the clearance is fixed, the greater the stroke frequency, the greater the noise.

As the power source, the motor noise of high-speed precision punch press includes magnetic induction noise, aerodynamic noise and mechanical noise caused by motor winding. The degree of motor noise depends on the output power and speed ratio of motor. The magnetic induction noise of motor is usually caused by the vibration of rotor and stator caused by the mutual effect of alternating magnetic field, which is generally high frequency noise.

Clutch noise, when the clutch is closed, the general high-speed precision punch will produce noise. It is caused by the inertia force of the slider and connecting rod in reciprocating operation and the centripetal force of the rotating quality of the crankshaft. The key factors of forming clutch noise are: the size of the impulse when the clutch is closed depends on the speed of the impact speed of the punch when the clutch is closed, and is also related to the stiffness and damping characteristics of the contact material.

This kind of mechanical noise has little harm to the stamping accuracy on the high-speed precision punch with abundant tonnage. Therefore, we call on our customers to choose a good punch brand with low noise and stable characteristics.
