How to install the mold on the punch

The punch has a high rigidity, high-precision frame, steel plate welding, and heat treatment to remove the thermal stress of the shell so that the machine and equipment can work stably for a long time without deformation, and the actual operating characteristics are reliable and safe. The premise of production is to have relative molds. According to different production and processing regulations, molds must be frequently replaced and installed during production. So how should the mold be used?




1. Before installation, make sure that the cutting edge of the mold is sharp, there is no chipping on the cutting edge of the die, and there is no missing corner on the punch. If there is a crack or lack of corners, please sharpen the wound first.




2. Before closing the mold, a silicon steel sheet should be inserted between the upper mold and the upper mold to avoid injury due to the transportation process.

3. Before the mold is installed on the punch, the burrs on the bottom and upper sides should be grind off with oil stone, and the garbage should be cleaned and transported with cloth tape. If there are burrs or rubbish on the left and right planes of the mold, it will cause deviation of the punching burrs.




4. Adjust the stroke of the slider to a suitable position to clamp the upper mold. Make sure that the upper plane of the mold handle or the mold base closely meets the bottom edge of the slider, and the lower mold pressing plate screws are gently clamped. Then, adjust the slider upwards and remove the silicon steel sheet in the middle. Loosen the screws of the lower molding plate, and adjust the slider downwards until the punch is 3 to 4mm into the female mold, and clamp the screws of the lower molding plate. When punching a new die, the punch must enter the female die by 3 to 4mm, otherwise, the punch or the die will burst.




5. Raise the slide block to the top dead center position, adjust the punching rod stop screw to fit tightly and loosely, and then high speed several times to observe whether the mold and the punch are normal in the organization. If there are no abnormalities, you can just start production.
